| Replacement ECUs represent the ultimate in performance for your engine. For maximum race engine performance there is no other option that will give you the unrivalled control and responsiveness that a replacement ECU will give. Being able to "map" both the fuel and ignition sites allows you to control what happens to the engine at predetermined points throughout the rev range, relative to RPM and load. We offer full re-mapping of aftermarket ECU’s for improved torque and power output, all tuned on our Chassis Dynamometer. The M400 to M800 range offers the next generation in Engine Management Systems (ECU). This system has been developed through rigorous research and practical field-testing. The M800 retains all the best features of previous ECU's, while offering a combination of unsurpassed power and flexibility.
The GEMS EM36 provides similar features to the Motec units. It is intended for four to eight cylinder sequential applications but with its extensive features finds other uses such as five or six cylinder distributorless engines or twelve cylinders with twin distributors. As with the Motec unit, it has user-defined ignition advance, fuel quantity, and fuel injection timing. With inputs suitable for oxygen sensors and a non-volatile memory sophisticated exhaust emission is available. All signal and power lines are filtered for protection against electro-magnetic interference. Similar to the Motec and Gems packages, but offer a good range of OEM loom adaptops for Ford Escort and Focus. |
